6th Grade students must have TDAP in order to begin 7th grade. Proof must be provided to Records Office at Cope Middle School.
The Redlands High School Counselors want to encourage all our future parents and guardians to attend our annual 8th into 9th Grade Parent Night on Monday, April 10 at 6:00 p.m. in Clock Auditorium on the RHS campus. Topics to be covered included graduation requirements, registration forms, honors programs, summer school, student activities, and academic policies.  The High School asks that you download and print the registration documents.
Announcements
LATE WORK Policy for 4th Quarter
The Late Work Policy will change for 4th Quarter. Late work will no longer require a Late Pass attached. However, any assignment that is turned in late (except for absentee work, of course) will be subject to a 30% reduction in grade. Hopefully, this will provide enough of a deterrent to reduce the massive amount of late work (uncharacteristic of Honors classes) that has come in during this school year and help students develop the habits needed to be better time managers for 7th grade!
UP-COMING ASSESSMENTS
5/9 Statistics Unit Test
5/10 Ecosystems and Biomes Unit Test
NEW HONORS GRADE 7 APPLICATION PROCESS
Please click on the "Parent" tab above to access information about the new process that will be used District-wide this year to determine Honors placement next school year.
MINDS ON MATH aka MOM
Beginning tomorrow, September 13, 2016, until further notice, my classroom will be open at the following times for students to attend MOM. I will be available for support, encouragement, and guidance. Students may come with questions, or they may come just to get a head start on their math homework. Please be aware that this is not an offer of one-on-one tutoring or an additional instructional session. I will lend help where needed, most often through questioning rather than leading. The goal is to help students develop independence and learn to utilize resources, as well as opportunities to think through the math situations they have been presented with. Please also know that, in the event of my absence or other complication, sessions will be canceled. I will do my best at giving advance notice of cancelation.

Before School 8:15 - 8:40 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays
At Lunch 12:40 –1:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays
MATHia
We have a new version of MATHia, the online component of our math curriculum! So, I am learning along with the kiddos. A MATHia Grading handout was distributed on September 20th. MATHia accounts for 25% of a student's math grade each quarter.
NUMBERWORKS
Numberworks is a weekly assignment that is intended to help students keep their computational skills sharp. Students have all week to complete the assignment...either during extra minutes of classtime e.g. when finishing an assignment or assessment quickly, or at home. However, it is not considered a "homework" assignment. When scored, Numberworks is worth 100 points/week [the same as a quiz] and is recorded in the Assessments category. A student may not use a Homework Pass on Numberworks.
